A beautiful pinwheel in space might one day blast Earth with death rays, scientists now report.
Unlike the moon-sized Death Star from Star Wars, which has to get close to a planet to blast it, this blazing spiral has the potential to burn worlds from thousands of light-years away.

Firstly: Great site!
Second, I’m not so big on this bunch of baloney about the threat of gamma death rays… Where is the evidence on the ground of this place ever having been scorched by Gamma rays! What a bunch of terrorist alarmist nonsense. Where’s the video of star systems being laid to waste by gamma ray? The solar system is on an approximate 240 million year orbit in the Milky Way galaxy. Which means in the approximate 17 times we’ve circuited the galaxy, there has been 0 times we’ve been blasted by rays from exploding stars and zero times a mass extinction event was attributed to gamma rays… What a bunch of alarmist hogwash these servants of financial dominance push! Now this Andromeda Galaxy central blackhole impending collision with the Milkyway Galaxies central blackhole, that’s a whole other matter and seriously very scary. Thank the creator I won’t be here in 2 billion years to experience it!
